I recently had someone who I followed on twitter send me a direct message and then contact me on Skype to figure out who I was/where I followed them from.  Now, I was not exactly sure the answer to any of those questions, but soon after, I realized that I had met one of the most amazingly caring people on twitter thus far.  This guy actually listened, and we talked for over an hour and a half tonight.  It was amazing to see such a connection can be made over twitter, something that lets you type so little, but helps you express so much.

I recently got back into promoting with CPA Empire AKA Affiliate.com.  However, my results are not appearing to be very promising.  I have not had a SINGLE click recorded thus far, however, when I pull up the tracking stats for my urlbrief link, I have had 23 clicks!  Sure, not every signle click would be considered a valid click, some are from API and Twitter clients.  However, there are at least 10 unique clicks and none of them have recorded as valid.  I am EXTREMELY irritated at CPA Empire, hopefully they will get back into the game, because if you shave that many clicks off a campaign, it’s not going to end up well for the company or affiliate.

I didn’t really make all that many goals for myself this year, only to make $10,000!   For a 16 year old kid, that’s quite a nice sum.  Do you think I can do it?  I will be doing quite a bit to make sure every penny I earn gets the most use out of it!  Right now, I am still with payu2blog.  I hope to gain a lot of different business ventures throught this year that will let me expand my knowledge and wallet.  I want to start some specific affiliate sites, do more with PPC marketing and see if I can have a $250 day in affiliate marketing.  They sky is really the limit on the internet!

Originally, I said that spam should be punishable by firing squad.  However, that is much too honorable of a death to have!  Right  now, many people are creating twitter accounts, and then adding as many people as possible.  While it is great to get to know new people, these people just irritate the crap out of me.  I might follow a new person, because I always try to when they follow me, and they either send me 20 tweets a minute or direct message me every other second.  It’s impossible to deal with!

Luckily, twitter has been having a lot more luck recently with dealing with these spammers.  You can see how many of them have the infamous “whale of death”.  I love the idea of marketing products and services through twitter.  But PLEASE, do the right thing and be responsible with your marketing efforts.  Sending people spam only ruins the chances for you and the rest of internet marketers in the future.  Let’s all make the world a better place, alright?

When you sell a product online, many people use a sales letter approach.  This is where you have an extremely long letter that has so much evidence in it that people will be assured that your product is top quality, safe and a great buy.  However, many people do not EVER read the entire sales letter.  They find it annoying, time consuming and just become bored with the product by the time they read about the 500th word.

One of your best alternatives is to blog.  With blogging you can sell your product in one post, or all your posts.  It allows you to dive into depth about your product, assure your consumers, and hook them with a great sales pitch without having to annoy the crap out of them.

Think about that the next time you take on a new project or product in your marketing lineup!

Twitter is an interesting venuet to use for marketing your product.  You are able to find people who need your product or service in real life and market it to them almost instantaneously.  The relationships you can form with your potential customers highten your experience and will make it seem like you can do almost anything.  If you haven’t created a twitter account, I would encourage you to do so right away.  I have had mine for quite a while.  If you are interested in following what I have to say about things then follow me by clicking here and hitting follow.

The economy is in a huge depression right now?  What are YOU doing to take advantage of it?  That’s RIGHT!  Even though the economy might be in the worst position is has been in years or even decades advertisers are looking to spend SO MUCh more on ads these days that it is not even funny.  If you have ANY capcity to advertise on, a blog, a website, a forum you can make some great money!  Don’t think that just because the economy is having trouble you will have trouble getting advertisements for your sites!  It is just an ubran myth, advertising is alive and well.

One of the easiest offers to promote at any affiliate marketing company is the short form.  These are single page offers with about 5-10 fields that give you a fast and easy payout.  You do not have to work too hard and have a really fun time promoting them!  You can either setup a quick page and drive traffic to it or promote direct to the offers themselves.  One of the best places to get them from is Market Leverage.  They have all sorts of different short forms that pay out great!  If you don’t have anywhere to get those short forms check out ML.  Also, use different promotion tactics, such as email marketing/search engine marketing(PPC), you’ll be amazed at your results!
