I have found that there are several blogs out there doing a really poor job at utilizing their marketing copy. They don’t enegage their readers to make the best decisions, and some don’t even engage the read at all. You need to step into the reader’s shoes, engage them, and drive the point home.
While I have not had any formal training in marketing whatsoever, I have learned that the best sales people are those who innovate. You must be willing to put the best foot forward at all times. Come down to the level of the person who reads what your are writing. What do you think they are looking for? What do THEY want from you?
Once you have determined what the reader really wants you need to engage them to make sure that they get it. If all you do is identify what they want, your not going full circle. Make it known to them that they need your product in order to avoid foreclosure, or you really must have a free Nintendo Wii right this moment! Make it sound urgent, and that it should be done right away or you will lose the interest of your readers.
Driving the point home is the final and possibly most difficult step of this all. You need to make sure you have a point that secures what you are trying to sell and rehashes everything you have said in condensed form. Tell your readers what it is, why it is urgent, and why they should chose you over the other’s! Don’t put yourself in a bad situation! All you have to do is play your cards right and you will be the next marketer to hit the Internet Marketing Big Time. I wish you good luck!

You make some great points in your posts! Analyzing your audience is extremely important, however, it’s easy to lose sight of this sometimes. And don’t forget, knowing your competition is critical too!
