I have joined the latest blogging sensation, Entrecard! Entrecard is a program that lets small or large time bloggers get advertising on sites by simply dropping their card on different blogs. Entrecard is a great, and free way to get free advertising. However, the problem is that many big name bloggers have their spots all bought up already. Blogs such as John Chow have their Entrecard’s at reachable levels, but booked up for two weeks! Entrecard doesn’t allow you to book more than a certain number of days in advance so even though I have the credits to buy a day on John Chow, it isn’t possible as people grab it up at too fast of a rate.
This is also true of many of the new blogs. Experienced members sit and submit their card for 2 credits on the new blogs. Personally, I like the blogs I saw and didn’t see a problem with this except they did it for every single blog. My Entrecard got 17 bids in the first 2 hours and is sold out through Dec. 23rd. I can’t even get advertisers waiting for my site. I think that is kind of flawed. I would love to be able to schedule 30 days out.
Entrecard is nice and all but I don’t see it staying around very long. How is it making money? I cannot see any outwardly signs that it is at all. Well, we shall see. Get some free advertising over on Entrecard in the meanwhile.

I think EntreCard has great potential, but I also think they need to do something about the sporadic down time because it is very frustrating and the members will get disgusted with it fast enough.

I think they will figure out that they need another server Breezie. I hope to God that they figure it out. If not, it may be a quick trip to the Dead Pool for them.
