Smorty is a blog advertising program, whom I will not link to for a couple of reasons. First, they are basically dead. I have been a member there and done 3-4 tasks but in the past couple months they have really dropped off. Second, their customer service is the WORST. They use canned responses that have horrible English. I would encourage all bloggers to not look too hard at this one, it doesn’t seem that they are committed to bloggers, or the blogging community at large.

Whilst Smorty doesn’t get full marks for making their “contact us” button easily findable, the one time I’ve needed to use it, they’ve responded by the following morning which is way, way better than PPP.

It’s also true that they don’t have many opps but picking up a couple of opps per week from them adds up. I also like the way that they give you three days to write entries so I can save one up for tomorrow if I’m blogged out for the day.

I don’t know if it’s a side-effect of the PPP/google thing at the moment but they appear to have collected rather more opps in the last few days than they ever had available before (I’ve been with them maybe six months or so).

They do respond fast, but I’d appreciate a logical, fully thought out response.

The saving feature is nice, but I tend to forget.

I haven’t seen any new opps at all, and I’ve been with them about six months as well, so its really a trade off. Maybe you have a better page rank?

I like smorty personally, but recently due to my pr dropped to 0, i cant get any oppurtunities from them.
Wish my pr will back soon

i like smorty personally too. So far i get at least 4 opportunities per week from them. By the way, i’m always getting rejected by PPP. Donno y~

I haven’t posted any ops from them lately either since my PR 5 went to zippo.

I love Smorty. But I probably wouldn’t like it so much if my page rank was lower. I have been getting some fantastic opps since my page rank went up a few months ago. My posts get approved very quickly and I get paid right away. As I said, if my page rank drops next time Google puts the slapdown on bloggers, I will probably have to go somewhere else to blog for money, because I’m sure I won’t get the opps I’ve been getting. I’ve never had to contact them for anything, so I cannot comment on their response time. I do know that I have contacted PPP on many occasions and have yet to get any response from them. I’m sort of scared to work for PPP anymore, for fear my page rank will drop. So I’ll stick with Smorty and a few others until I have to make other arrangements.

  7. Ryan Says:

They are very Page Rank oriented, like you all have said I have very few opps for most of my PR dropped blogs.

PPP seems to be having trouble as they are growing at an exponential rate. Luckily, if you ever have a issue I found Ted Murphy’s AIM addrees, seriously. But contacting Karen the support manager is usually the best for CRITICAL issues.

Kelly, I’d urge you to diversify your companies. It could bring in more money and definantly will increase the security of your revenue stream much more.

And for the rest, glad to here you can get opps, I sure as heck can’t. Maybe when I add this site I will start getting a few.

This is a great way to earn money blogging…highly recommended, they pay too fast!!…..Ryan don’t forget to approve my review on Sponsoredreviews !:P Good luck

  9. Ryan Says:

Haha Javo, I am weeding through but they do take time. 1500 bids is a bit time consuming…:)

  10. Tremium Says:

Sad to hear this. However, I’m getting some good opportunities since the beginning with Smorty though.

  11. Ryan Says:

Well, smorty is low paying and I just can’t justify it right now. :)
