Real Rank is a service being brought to you by IZEA, the holding company for PayPerPost. Real Rank is part of IZEA’s Social Spark platform that has yet to be launched. Real Rank is alternative metric to those that are currently used by PayPerPost, such as Page Rank which much of its blog population lost recently due to a Google Page Rank spanking. The real question is, will Real Rank really catch on.
Big Bloggers needed
Without enough A-list bloggers, Real Rank will not make a dent in the Blogosphere. Already some are touting the service as trashy and just another way to undermine statistics. Somewhat warmer responses have been said about Social Spark, which will supposedly let advertiser know more about where traffic is coming from and who exactly is reffering all of it.
Quantity as well as quality
Without a great number of blogs in their system PayPerPost is going to have a real problem with getting people to link on. Eventually, they will have some of the lower ranked bloggers getting angry, but it is only their fault. They control their ranking as they can get more links and more traffic to boost it.
RealRank is going to help the masses
RealRank will actually help your blog as it will encourage bloggers to do more. If they want to get more money they will have to work for it. No matter what others say Paid Posts require real work if they are done properly and effectively. Don’t worry about Page Rank’s opinion of your site, worry about your visitors and what their impression is. Quality traffic and content are more important than a opinion of some major company!

You know something, I do not know what to think of it all. I have read so much bad things about realrank from other bloggers, I do love the idea of not relying on “G” PR. I guess only time will tell.
P.S. I love your blog..great info:)

Thanks Supermom, It is hard to know what to think sometimes. Only time will tell, PPP needs to sway more advertisers away from PR.

I really hope realrank can help PPP bloggers as my blog is damaged by PPP.
